IMPULSE Dance Festival
July 9 - 24, 2011
IMPULSE is a two-week dance intensive designed especially for college students, adults and young professional dancers. Students participate in full day and/or evening workshops taught by nationally recognized guest artists to develop their technique, improvisation, composition and performance skills. IMPULSE also includes faculty and student performances and guest lectures on topics relevant to the developing dance artist.

Also, in partnership with Springboard to Learning and Young Audiences of St. Louis, Atrek offers our unique children's programs , "Moving Through Math" and "Moving With Science" as 45 minutes performances or variable length residencies to schools and other institutions. Many of aTrek's artists teach in studios throughout the metro area, including Dance Collective member Dianna Andrews Gaither who owns and operates Turning Pointe Academy of Dance in Maryville, IL.
